WORLD CLASS MOBILE RECORDING STUDIO FOR SALE ($144,000)

After 3 years of planning and 6 months of construction the 48 track mobile recording studio was completed with great success in 2004.  It's fully operational, ergonomical, and functional to perform with excellence for even the hardest to please clients.  The truck is spacious enough to seat 7 people comfortably including the engineer, yet it's still compact enough to park in even the tightest of locations.  In 2005 I added a custom framed hitch, 7 pin wire harness, and electronic brake controller to pull a new matching trailer enabling us to carry more equipment to satisfy the needs of all of our clients. The trailer has already been sold but you can purchase a new one for less than $3,000 if needed.  Some people use these tow-behind trailers for recording drum sets and tracking other instruments/amps. I have even seen towable, collapsible stages for mixing & recording bands for small outdoor events.

The truck, box (control room/studio), and available equipment (with original literature) as shown below are for sale at a package price of only $144k or best offer.  This price has recently been greatly reduced for a quick sale.

Note:  These photos include the following gear that have already been sold and do not come with the package price:

* REMOTE TRUCK AKA MOBILE RECORDING STUDIO DETAILS:
- The mobile studio was designed and built by the best. It took 3 years of planning and 6 months to build.  The design & construction consisted of 4 key people:
Kevin Cody (Me):  Audio Engineer, Musician, Conceptual Designer, and Recording Studio Owner.
Larry Turner:  Audio Engineer, Musician, Blueprint Designer & Executer, Systems Integration Engineer, Electrician, Studio Wiring, and Acoustics Analysis.
Jeff Montgomery:  Custom Studio Construction of the shell and front overhang. Deter Fisk - Custom Furniture Fabricator.

- The V8 Isuzu NPR Truck was bought brand new in 2004 and it has less than 2k miles on it.  The 12’ X 8’ box was bought brand new in 2004 from The Morgan Company where I also bought (3) brand new storage units that were attached underneath the box.  One is 4 feet wide and the other two are 2 feet wide.  They are all 2 feet deep.  I later purchased the 12’ Trailer brand new in 2005 from Haulmark which was custom built for me with a roof vent, ceiling lights, and full insulation.  As previously mentioned, this has already been sold.
- The Truck is completely sound proof and acoustically tweaked (time, energy & frequency analysis) for optimal stereo and surround mixing.  You can comfortably seat 6 people plus 1 engineer in the hot seat (chair is not included).  All of the furniture and racks were custom built on site.  In addition to having excellent shocks on the truck, all of the equipment has been individually shock mounted with custom designed foam/rubber inserts so you can be confident that this mobile studio is safely ready to rock and roll...
- Everything in the truck has been tested and works perfect (as of last test).  All cables are neatly ran and labeled for easy future troubleshooting and/or upgrades. There is plenty of room for expansion for more rack gear and lots of unused patches.  There are XLR and TRS patches on both sides of the console hidden under a removable table top for easily hooking up external gear.
- All of the lights in the truck are set up on 3 separate dimmers so you can adjust the lights to your desired setting.  There is also a light outside for entering the truck when it’s dark. This can also be set up as a security light with motion control.  We also equipped the truck with an internal light that runs off of the battery so you can have light when you are not hooked up to a power source.  There is an extra dimmer for a future upgrade which I had intended on putting mood lights underneath the couches and console.
- The Door contains an internal lock to keep people out as well as a peep hole for added security.  The door also contains a wireless door bell.  The 2 step stair case outside of the door is set up to slide into the body of the truck while driving.
- There are 2 cabinets on both sides of the door which contains an umbrella, foot cloths, and a fire extinguisher just in case.
- The seating area in the rear of the truck is all black genuine leather and they can easily be removed to gain access to gear rack wiring.

January 2024 Update: This mobile recording truck is still available for sale. I have not been doing any advertising yet because I am currently working on cleaning, repairing, and restoring it to show to potential buyers. Lately I have been very busy with other projects so I haven’t had any time to prepare the truck for the market place. I now have some time available and will be working on this over the next couple of months. Once complete, I will upload new photos and start advertising in hopes to sell the truck before this Summer. During this time I will not be making any major changes. I basically just need to spruce it up to make sure that it is more presentable to show. This way the new owner can implement their own vision on what types of changes and updates will be required to suit their individual tastes and needs. Some of these recommended projects could include freshening up the exterior with new coat of gray paint, perhaps with a custom logo or wrap. Another update I would recommend would be to install hardwood floors to compliment the existing design and color scheme. I am also willing and able to make and/or oversee any modifications that you would like, including helping you select updated audio gear which I can install and wire at a very reasonable cost. Give me a call or shoot me an email with any questions and/or concerns you may have and we’ll negotiate a price and formulate a plan to get you up and running with a remote audio truck that you’ll be proud to show off.
